cycling event has donated $115,000 to
the Boulder Community Health Center for Integrative Care and
$30,000 each to the George Karl
Foundation and the Chauncey Billups Elite Basketball Academy. The
donations were made February 7, 2017
during a special event at Celestial Seasonings, Inc., title sponsor
of B Strong Ride. The funds were raised in August 2016 at the 6th Annual B Strong
Ride through corporate sponsorship, rider registration fees and
contributions in support of individual riders.

The Boulder Community Health Center for Integrative Care
provides a wide range of services to cancer patients including
acupuncture, manual lymph drainage, massage therapy and
reflexology, Reiki and Healing Touch Massage, and wellness and
integrative care consultation. These services improve clinical
outcomes by enhancing wound healing, shortening hospital stays, and
reducing pain medication needs, as well as lowering patient stress
and anxiety.

decreasing their pain and anxiety… helping them to achieve greater
mindfulness and calmness through healing therapies, including
massage, acupuncture and reiki," said Grant

100% of the funding the Foundation provides to support patients at
the Center for Integrative Care."
B Strong Ride's donations of $30,000 to the George Karl Foundation and the
Chauncey Billups Elite Basketball Academy were presented by
Stephen Tebo of Tebo Properties and
Scott Crouch, Owner of Flatiron
Subaru – both sponsors of B Strong Ride. "I've been down this road

Karl, a two-time cancer survivor who accepted the check on
behalf of George Karl Foundation. "I can tell you the services we
support through our partner organizations make a great difference
in the lives of cancer patients and their families."
