Explanation of Responses:
( 1)  The total direct beneficial ownership reflects a de minimus adjustment of 0.803 due to rounding of the shares acquired by the reporting person from the pro rata distribution to HPE shareholders on 11/02/15.
( 2)  The sales reported on this Form 4 were effectuated pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the reporting person on 09/14/16.
( 3)  The price in Column 4 is a weighted average price. The prices actually paid ranged from $22.58 to $22.74. Upon request, the reporting person will provide to the Issuer, any security holder of the Issuer, or the SEC staff information regarding the number of shares purchased at each price within the range.
( 4)  These shares were held indirectly under HPE's 401(k) Plan as of 08/31/16.
