Cynthia Kilroy to Focus on Providing Strategic Solutions for Population Health Management

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Cynthia Kilroy has joined the Company as managing director in its Healthcare practice working within the Strategy and Healthcare Advisory solution.

“As value-based reimbursement, population health, consumerism, and consolidation drive evolution within the healthcare industry, it is imperative that hospitals and health systems understand how to integrate the spectrum of care to best serve patients,” said Gordon Mountford, executive vice president, Huron Healthcare. “Cynthia’s deep knowledge of emerging business challenges, regulatory changes, and market demands will help our clients grow market share and gain competitive advantage through innovative solutions.”

Kilroy will be responsible for helping hospitals and health systems conceive and implement population health, value-based care, provider/payer, and partnership/acquisition strategies to effectively compete in the market. Kilroy brings more than 25 years of experience working in hospital, physician, and managed care organizations in the areas of strategic planning, financial analysis, product innovation, operations restructuring, business partnerships, information technology, and program management.

Prior to joining Huron Healthcare, Kilroy worked at Optum in a cross-business unit capacity, first as the senior vice president of Accountable Care Provider Strategy and Business Development and then as the senior vice president of Strategic Solutions and Business Development.
