Dewmar International BMC, Inc. (OTCBB: DEWM) CEO Attends Sam's Club Food & Beverage Supplier Diversity Summit

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - May 1, 2014) - Dewmar International BMC, Inc. (OTCBB: DEWM) (OTCQB: DEWM) ("Dewmar" or "Company") a leading provider of consumer brands and new innovations to global markets announced today that its CEO, Dr. Marco Moran, has accepted an invitation to attend the Sam's Club Food & Beverage Suppler Diversity Summit.

Dr. Moran was invited because Dewmar International BMC, Inc. qualified as both a Minority and Disabled Veteran Owned business. Suppliers will have the opportunity to network with and hear presentations from Sam's Club executives, past successful diverse suppliers as well as other Sam's Club/Walmart officials. Suppliers attending the meeting will also have the opportunity to have direct interaction with the buyers of the food and beverage categories.

ECRM is facilitating this two day event where Day One was held Wednesday, April 30th at the Sam's Club Auditorium in Bentonville, Arkansas from 2pm until 7:10pm CST for all registrants.  Day Two, held May 1st, includes a one-on-one 30 minute session with a Sam's Club buyer to discuss why Dewmar believes that its beverage products are a good fit for Sam's Club.

"Last night's event offered a plethora of information for suppliers as we had an opportunity to interact with and listen to some of the top buyers and executives within Sam's Club," commented Dr. Marco Moran. "Actually, I was the only invited supplier that took advantage of the opportunity to directly address the panel of snack & beverage category buyers in an open forum by asking a series of detailed questions that would help me better prepare for my presentations today. The panel seemed impressed as to how familiar I was with the process due to the current success that we are having in the Walmart stores," Dr. Moran added.

Dewmar had to satisfactorily complete a pre-qualifying questionnaire regarding each product line it anticipates to present which are Lean Slow Motion Potion, C+Swiss Hemp Ice Tea and Chillo Hemp Energy Drink. Although a vendor's participation in this program creates no promise or guarantee of a business relationship or venture with Sam's Club, Dr. Moran is highly optimistic about one or more new potential product launches based upon the feedback that he received at the Supplier Diversity Summit's first night of activities. Furthermore, Dr. Moran believes that current success in existing Walmart accounts with Lean across a 3 state market may have prompted this non-solicited invitation from ECRM. This meeting will provide an opportunity for Dewmar's two newest licensed hemp-based products to participate in this exclusive event for an opportunity to be displayed in Sam's Clubs nationwide.

Suppliers are encouraged to have a productive conversation with the buyer(s) by definitively answering a list of commonly asked key questions. These questions include but are not limited to -- Do they already carry anything either similar or complimentary to your item(s)? What differentiates Dewmar's product from other product(s) in your category? Why should Sam's carry your item versus something else? What are the benefits for Sam's Club members?
