Intelligent Living Corp. ("ILVC") (OTCBB: ILVC), a leading provider of green building housing, automation and technology solutions, comments on native housing.

Recent national press has highlighted the significant challenges faced by native communities in providing affordable housing for their members. The immediate on reserve housing shortfall now exceeds 20,000 units with the situation in Western Canada becoming increasingly acute. This is highlighted in a recent government study that determined over 50% of the on reserve housing is in need of major repairs. This is in addition to the shortfall in available housing units. Kim Baird, Chief of Vancouver's Tsawwassen band is quoted as saying, "The biggest challenge to overcome is building capacity, so you have the appropriate expertise internally that you can trust for project management."

"Native housing is a key element of our business plan and we are actively working with First Nations communities to refine our modular housing designs to meet their requirements and provide access to skills training. The combination of pre-manufactured modular units shipped ready for assembly, skilled site supervision and local labor, trained to assist with assembly, are keys to success," said Michael Holloran, CEO, ILVC. "Our approach is designed to overcome site limitations and deliver quality housing at a rate and price that meet the community's needs."
