                                TRADING UPDATE

Trading Update

Parkwood Holdings plc is pleased to provide an update on trading performance
for the year ended 31st December 2005. Profits before tax for the year are
expected to be above expectations on turnover slightly ahead of forecast at
around 79 million.

The Group's core local authority based business in Leisure has performed well
in the year, and income has been generated from the sale of certain of the
Group's investments in Leisure PFI projects.

Glendale, the Group's green services business has expanded sales considerably
in the year and has invested in bidding for new contracts and additional
management in preparation for an enlarged business in 2006 when sales are
expected to exceed 50 million.

The Group has continued successfully focussing on its working capital
management during the year, resulting in the maintenance of a low net interest
cost and enabling investments to be made in PFI ventures and acquisitions.

Parkwood is well placed to achieve a turnover approaching 100 million in 2006.

An update on progress will be provided with the Group's preliminary results for
the year to 31st December 2005, which are expected to be released on Monday
13th March 2006 and will be prepared under IAS. Full reconciliations of the
impact of IAS were announced as part of the Group's interim reporting and can
be found on the Group's website on www. parkwood-holdings.co.uk.
