Shares in Nucleus Financial Group PLC jumped Wednesday after the company said it has received approaches for a possible takeover from financial-platform provider Integrafin Holdings PLC, and private-equity firm Epiris LLP in conjunction with its associate James Hay Partnership Management Ltd.

The wrap-platform provider said it is also in preliminary talks with private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners LLC and wealth-tech company Allfunds (U.K.) Ltd.

Integrafin and Epiris are interested in acquiring the entire share capital of Nucleus, it added.

Nucleus said its majority shareholder Sanlam U.K. Ltd. is supportive of the company engaging in potential offer discussions. Sanlam owns 52% of Nucleus.

"There can be no certainty that any offer for Nucleus will be made, nor as to the terms on which any offer might be made," Nucleus said,

Nucleus shares at 1215 GMT were up 42.5 pence, or 32%, at 175.0 pence. This values the company at 133.8 million pounds ($178.2 million).
