Quality control is a paramount focus for Clipper Windpower as production is
stepped up.  Clipper has detected an issue relating to machining tolerances in
the gearbox housing of the first gearboxes and has decided to introduce an
additional measurement process during machining to ensure gearbox tolerances are
met.  The additional measurement process is being implemented with machining
vendors and will not impact future gearbox procurement.


Eight turbines will be shipped to the Steel Winds project in Buffalo, New York
by the end of December but the first phase of deliveries to the Endeavor project
in Harris, Iowa (40 turbines), originally expected by the end of 2006, will now
commence at the beginning of 2007.  Clipper still expects to deliver 250+
turbines in 2007.
