ACTING PRESIDENT OF PERGO APPOINTED

Raimo Issal has been appointed Acting President of Pergo with immediate effect.

Raimo Issal, who joined the company in 1996, has been a member of Pergo's
executive management for the past two years as Vice President Product
Development.  Aged 47, he is a doctor of economics.  His previous positions
include being president of PA Consulting Group of Sweden.

Pergo's current President, Tom Almgren, will make his services available to the
company's executive management during an interim period.

Pergo, a subgroup of Perstorp AB, has annual sales of approximately SEK 3,700
million, with 1,100 employees.  Pergo, the first company to develop laminate
flooring and now a leading manufacturer of the product, is a strong brand name
in Europe and the US.
