Daimler AG (DAI.XE) said Thursday that its buses business signed an order of 500 city buses for Morocco in January.

The German premium-car maker said it will supply 420 Mercedes-Benz Conecto solo buses and 80 articulated Mercedes-Benz Conecto G buses to Spanish bus company ALSA Grupo SLU, which is part of National Express Group PLC (NEX.LN).

The buses will be produced at Daimler Buses' Turkish plant and delivered by the end of the year, Daimler added.

The financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.
