LONDON--Food producer and fashion retailer Associated British Foods PLC (ABF.LN) Tuesday said its interim results will include a 98 million pound ($147.7 million) impairment charge after falling crude oil and bioethanol prices and the weaker euro against sterling hit its investment in a bioethanol joint venture.

The wheat-fed bioethanol joint venture is with oil group BP PLC (BP.LN) and chemicals company Dupont.
