Imtech: Hans Turkesteen appointed as new CFO, Boudewijn Gerner steps down as CFO

Gouda, the Netherlands - The
Supervisory Board of Royal Imtech N.V. (technical services provider
in and outside Europe) announces that as of today Boudewijn Gerner
(61) steps down as CFO and member of the Board of Imtech. With
effect of 11 February 2013 Hans Turkesteen (49), currently CFO and
member of the Board of Management of Stork Technical Services, is
appointed as new CFO and nominated as member of the Board of
Management. During the Annual General Meeting of shareholders to be
held later in 2013 his nomination must officially be approved by
the shareholders.
Rudy van der Meer, Chairman of the Supervisory
Board of Imtech: 'Boudewijn Gerner can look back on a successful
period at Imtech, but has indicated that a changing of the guard is
desired. This is partly due to the situation in which the company
now finds itself and also to the fact that it had already been
agreed that he would leave Imtech next year. During 2013 Boudewijn
Gerner will continue as advisor for Imtech. The Supervisory Board
is Boudewijn Gerner grateful for his personal contribution and
dedication in recent years and respects his decision. Imtech
provides in his succession with the appointment of Hans Turkesteen.
Hans Turkesteen has extensive experience in the technical services
market and a broad financial background with a strong track record
in financial change and cash flow management. The proven
capabilities of Hans Turkesteen in financially navigating a company
in challenging times will help Imtech's recovery and future
development.'

Turkesteen
Hans Turkesteen is a Certified Accountant. He began in 1982 as an
accountant at Andersen. In 1993 he was appointed as Partner and
later Managing Partner of Andersen Dutch M&A practice. He
played an instrumental role in the transition from Andersen to
Deloitte, where he was responsible for Financial Advisory and
Capital Market practice. Since 2008 he has been CFO and member of
the Board of Management of Stork where he in August 2012
successfully implemented a complete financial restructuring. Mr.
Turkesteen has the Dutch nationality.
The Central Works Council has issued a positive
advice regarding this nomination.
