Washington State University join more than 1,000 education
institutions that trust Qualtrics to enhance the student experience
from application to graduation and beyond
Qualtrics (Nasdaq: XM), the leader and creator of the experience
management category, today announced that a diverse group of
education organizations, including the New York City Department of
Education and Washington State University, selected its experience
management solutions in the second quarter of 2022 to create
exceptional experiences across the educational journey.
“Student, faculty and staff expectations are on the rise as
institutions compete to attract and retain students and talent,”
said Lee Perlis, vice president of higher education strategy and
solutions at Qualtrics. “A growing number of schools recognize the
value of experience management and the urgent need to sense and
respond to evolving expectations in this time of uncertainty.”
K-12 schools and universities are seeking better strategies to
understand enrollment numbers. Qualtrics XM™ solutions help
institutions make data-driven decisions by providing a holistic
view of student and staff experiences with real-time insights that
illuminate a path to action. With Qualtrics, education institutions
are able to listen with empathy, understand key patterns and
preferences and act on insights that take into account diverse and
complex individual needs. The result is more enriching experiences
for students and employees and better outcomes in terms of
recruitment and retention.
The following organizations chose Qualtrics in the second
quarter to better understand and improve student experiences.
As part of a strategic plan to create a better student
environment on campus, Washington State University is
committed to improving the entire student lifecycle from
application to alumni engagement. Due to the ongoing mental and
physical challenges students are facing because of the pandemic,
the school has a special focus on improving its student health
services, making it easier to find information about what’s
available, book appointments and access the right kind of help. By
renewing and expanding on its existing Qualtrics program,
Washington State University aims to meet students where they are
and take action on critical feedback to boost well-being.
Qualtrics grew with The New York City Department of
Education (NYCDOE) in Q2, as NYCDOE continues to invest in
using experience data and insights to drive actions in the Office
of Student Enrollment. NYCDOE chose DesignXM and CX Foundational
with the goal of delivering a better enrollment experience starting
with post-application surveys and capturing feedback about
enrollment processes.
San Antonio Independent School District, one of the
largest school districts in Texas, renewed and expanded its
relationship with Qualtrics in Q2, and will use Qualtrics solutions
to make its schools safer and more supportive for students. In
addition to supporting a comprehensive response to COVID, including
facilitating participation in vaccination and testing
opportunities, Qualtrics will help San Antonio schools to provide
better social and emotional support to students through an
assessment of its guidance and counseling services as well as track
and improve campus security measures.
The University of Minnesota furthered its
institution-wide experience management goals in Q2 by renewing its
Qualtrics Core XM and EX solutions and adding CX solutions for
student experience management. The school is working to better
understand sense of belonging by listening to students, gaining new
insights and enacting timely and effective interventions. By
holistically improving belonging and inclusion, starting with
first-year students and going beyond, The University of Minnesota
aims to increase overall satisfaction and student success.
2U Inc., a leading online education platform company,
uses Qualtrics to collect realtime student and faculty feedback
throughout the online learning journey, from application to
post-graduation. This past quarter, 2U renewed and expanded its
relationship with Qualtrics to deploy CX solutions that integrate
with its learning management system to provide proactive insights
about student engagement and inform faculty about improving the
student experience.
