Was $0.65 congrats to the longs. I think we see a diesel pull back after 4,000% run up.

I think the plunge back down to 2 cents below yesterday's low has to do with the technical chart failure for BGFV to get back above the 9dma after it tried to rebound back up past $8.60 in the a.m.

And so now it's testing for new support level.
The low 8s may hold, or we may get a dip (a brief one, imo) down to the rising 20dma (the mid Bollinger band), presently at 7.80 and likely a bit higher by tomorrow.

Yes, that's true, but without a significant online presence, people shop in store. The nature of shopping for sporting goods is mostly in store also. I would think it would improve in a normal environment.

But it's COVID that is giving BGFV a number of advantages, e.g., people canceling their gym memberships and working out at home; going hiking & camping with their kids rather than going to amusement parks, malls and movie complexes.

Also, it forced them to do some significant cost-cutting....

Imagine how good this can do in a non-COVID time.

Added another 2000 to the pile yesterday sitting on a 150% profit no plans to sell. Future's looking good for the Big 5

Agree on all that obviously. A double still leaves it undervalued. I think this is a matter of patience. There are day flippers creating noise and people happy to take their 100%+ profit from a few weeks ago. When that churn settles it will find its way up.

Stock got hit with some normal profit taking today after a big run this month. Anyone who shorted should be quick to lock in their profits imo. Because BGFV is headed much higher. Blockbuster guidance of $1.00-$1.30/share for the current quarter, paid off all debt, reinstating the dividend (a decent 3.5% dividend yield at this price). Cash position grew to $38M in July. By the next earnings report, they'll be sitting on $2-$3/share in cash with zero debt. Plus they're going to report monster earnings over $1/share for the QUARTER. And you can buy the stock in the $5's?? This incredible bargain won't last, but I'm happy to take advantage while it does. Compare BGFV to others in the sector. It would be undervalued at $10-$20.
