--U.K. antitrust regulators are looking at the role of Facebook, Inc. (FB) and Google in digital ad markets, Reuters reported Wednesday.

--The Competition and Markets Authority is investigating the methods used by the companies to collect personal data and the overall influence they wield in digital ad markets, the report said.

--The investigation also will look into the question of ownership of data, the report said.
