  Issue of consideration shares in respect of acquisition of minority interest


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of
4,959,210 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each in Man Group to the Official List
and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.
The application is being made in respect of shares to be issued as part
consideration for the acquisition of a minority stake in BlueCrest Capital
Management.  These new ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with
the current issued ordinary shares of Man Group.
