Corby Spirit & Wine Ltd. said Friday that its vice president and chief financial officer, Edward Mayle, would leave the company, effective Feb. 28.

The Canadian alcohol manufacturing and distribution company said Mr. Mayle would assume the role of director of investor relations at Pernod Ricard SA.

According to FactSet, Pernod Ricard has a 51.61% stake in Corby.

To take over the role, Corby said it has appointed Juan Alonso as vice president, financial chief of the company, effective March 1.

Mr. Alonso brings with him a wealth of financial and operational knowledge with 23 years experience with Pernod Ricard affiliates and predecessor organizations in Brazil, Chile, and the U.S., Corby said.
