franchise café, SPoT Coffee Amherst, will open for business on
August 31st, 2018. As a
precursor to this grand opening, the local community in
Amherst, New York has been invited
to a lunchtime community gathering on August
30th, 2018 to sample SPoT's award-winning food
and coffee free of charge.
In keeping with SPoT's unique approach to building warm and
inviting full-service cafés, SPoT Coffee Amherst was designed with
ample seating of different types (lounge, café and high bar), and
features one of SPoT's now famous murals rendered by local artists,
a central fireplace, and a patio. The entire café team has been
fully trained in preparation of the commencement of operations.

be happier with the way the build-out and opening preparation

The Company will also be providing a full operational update in
the coming weeks explaining, in detail, the lengths that SPoT's
management team has gone to implement cost saving and
revenue-generating measures that are anticipated to have a
significant impact on the Company's operational and financial
performance. This includes improvements to labour structure,
adjustments to opening hours, the introduction of speed-enhancing
automated coffee equipment, and a fully updated outsourcing program
with an emphasis on higher quality and lower cost.
