Allianz Life Promotes Three within Marketing Department

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life)
today named Dan Krueger as assistant vice president for Variable
Annuity products and In Force Management, Karen Gemmill as
assistant vice president for Fixed Index Annuities and Life
Insurance products, and Lisa Hoene as assistant vice president of
Market Management. All three positions are highly complex roles
that directly influence the overall company strategy and results,
including customer experience and intelligence, product
differentiation and distribution segmentation.

understand our customers and provide retirement product solutions
that meet their evolving needs,” said Allianz Life Chief Marketing
Officer Nancy Jones. “As the retirement landscape continues to
change, it is essential that we utilize their leadership and market
knowledge to help people fund a more secure retirement.”
Dan KruegerKrueger brings more than 20 years of expertise
in product development, IT and project leadership in the insurance
industry. He joined Allianz Life in 2004 and was most recently
senior director of Product Innovation. In that role, he was
responsible for leading the Product Innovation function for
variable annuities and investment options, including the company’s
entry into the fee-based advisor channel in 2011. Krueger was also
responsible for overall in-force product management in addition to
overseeing the product development life cycle and all forms
development for all product lines.
Krueger earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from
the University of Wisconsin. He has FINRA Series 6 and 26
securities registrations and is certified as a Project Management
Professional (PMP).
Karen GemmillGemmill brings more than 25 years of
experience in product development, marketing and broker/dealer
management to her new position. She joined Allianz Life early in
2011 as senior director of Product Innovation. In that role, she
was responsible for leading the Product Innovation function for
fixed annuity, fixed index annuity and life insurance products.
Gemmill earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
from the University of Wisconsin and also has a Master’s of
Business Administration Degree from the University of Minnesota’s
Carlson School of Management. Gemmill has her NASD Series 7, 63 and
24 securities licenses and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
designation.
Lisa HoeneHoene has more than 25 years of experience in
the financial services industry including institutional retirement
markets and senior leadership roles in marketing, customer
experience and consumer education. She joined the company in
January as senior director of Market Management, responsible for
Customer Experience and Customer Intelligence. In that role, she
initiated development of new programs that enable Allianz Life to
be more effective in anticipating and serving customer and producer
needs.
Hoene earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in english from St. Olaf
College in Northfield, Minn. and has FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24
securities registrations.
