New television ad from insurer affirms power of the Aflac Duck. COLUMBUS, Ga., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Aflac announced the launch of its latest television commercial, "There's Only One Aflac." The spot humorously illustrates there is no substitute for Aflac, the number one provider of guaranteed-renewable insurance in the United States. The 30-second spot shows an employee asking his boss if their company has Aflac while the two are standing in front of the water cooler. His boss replies they have "something else" as a goat who represents another insurance company chews papers, shakes his head and responds "naaaa" to every question the employee has about whether the insurance plan pays cash like Aflac does to help you pay bills while you are sick or hurt. The commercial ends as the goat flees the building chased by the Aflac Duck. "This campaign demonstrates that there is only one Aflac and that other insurance policies don't compare to Aflac," said Dan Amos, chairman and CEO of Aflac. "Aflac pays cash benefits that policyholders can use however they see fit, be it for rent, groceries, or to help replace loss income." "There's Only One Aflac," is the 29th installment in the popular Aflac commercial series produced by the Kaplan Thaler Group. The ad is scheduled to debut nationwide on April 2. The spot will run on major networks and cable channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC, A&E, CNBC and Discovery. For more than 50 years, Aflac products have given policyholders the opportunity to direct cash where it is needed most when a life-interrupting medical event causes financial challenges.
