Oxford Technology VCT has purchased 450,000 ordinary shares in Getmapping.com
plc, an AIM listed company.  This brings Oxford Technology VCT's total
shareholding in the company to 1,337,682 ordinary shares representing about 4.6%
of the equity.

Getmapping.com was established in November 1998 as the 'Millennium Mapping
Company' specifically to produce and market the first complete, full-colour,
digital, aerial photographic map of the UK.  The photography is so detailed that
every car, tree and house can be seen, and the whole Map is being geo-corrected
so that the 120,000 individual photographs form a seamless map-accurate whole. 
In January 2000 the 'Millennium Mapping Company' was re-branded as
Getmapping.com

The Millennium Map TM has revolutionised the usage and cost of high quality
aerial photography by making it widely available in digital formats to both the
professional user and to the general public.  Each five-year release of the map
will represent a "snapshot" of the United Kingdom at a specific date, and this
will allow users to analyse change over time (eg coastal erosion, urban
development, habitat change...).  Individuals can log onto www.getmapping.com
and order a photograph of their own house, village or golf course.

Traditional aerial photography was usually commissioned for individual
customers, at different times and to different specifications.  Consequently,
there was no central source to which a user could go to find, let alone procure,
data for every part of the UK.  The Millennium Map TM and future releases of the
maps has changed all that by being complete, consistent and instantly accessible
via email, and over the Internet.  It is also available by more traditional
means, such as hard copy prints.

Getmapping has recently launched the Millennium Map under a multi-year licensing
arrangement called Digital National Imagery, and has also launched an email
