IDOX plc ("IDOX" or the "Company")

Transaction in Own Shares

Pursuant to the general authority given to the Company by the shareholders, the Company announces that on 8 April 2011 it purchased a total of 250,000 of its own ordinary shares to be held in treasury at a price of 17.9 pence per share.

This represents less than 0.08 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, following this purchase, there are 324,537 shares held in treasury and the total number of voting rights in IDOX plc is 343,833,829.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, IDOX under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
