           Firestone Diamonds PLC ("the Company")

Following the exercise of warrants to subscribe for Ordinary
Shares  in  the Company, application has been made  for  the
admission  of  527,627 Ordinary Shares of 20p  each  in  the
company  to trading on the Alternative Investment Market  of
the London Stock Exchange.

On  16th  August 1999 Mr. Michael J. Hampton, a Director  of
the Company,  acquired 40,373 Ordinary Shares as a result of
the  exercise  of warrants at US $0.364 (approximately  23p)
per  share,  increasing his shareholding in the  Company  to
129,857  Ordinary  Shares, representing 0.55% of the  issued
share capital of the Company.

It is expected that the new Ordinary Shares will be admitted
to trading on 23rd August, 1999.
