Firestone Diamonds plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
on 24 November 2006 from Fidelity International that FMR Corp. and Fidelity
International Limited together have a notifiable interest in 1,681,900 Ordinary
Shares of 20p each, representing approximately 3.02% of the current issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.  The notifiable interests also comprise
the notifiable interest of Mr Edward C Johnson 3rd, a principal shareholder of
FMR Corp. and Fidelity International Limited.


Of the above shares, 1,453,300 are held on behalf of Fidelity Management &
Research Company, a subsidiary of FMR Corp., and 228,600 are held on behalf of
Fidelity International Limited.
