Firestone Diamonds plc ("the Company")

On 25th February, 2000, a total of 1,360,000 options to purchase Ordinary
Shares of 20p each in the Company were granted to Directors of the Company,
exercisable at a price of #0.765 per share, representing the mid market
closing price of the shares on that day.  The options were granted to
Directors as follows:

JF Kenny - 350,000
P Kenny - 350,000
H Jenner-Clarke - 350,000
J Kenny - 200,000
M Hampton - 110,000

The options are exercisable for a period from one to ten years from the date
of grant.
