NEW TV SERIES INDEPENDENTLY PRODUCED BY DORI MEDIA
Nadav Palti, President and CEO of Dori Media Group Ltd. ("DMG"), the
international media company active in the production, distribution, broadcasting
and merchandising of Telenovela, announced today that the Company has started
the production of a new TV series in Argentina.
'El Refugio' ('The shelter') is a new teen Telenovela of at least 120 episodes,
which is produced by Dori Media through its Argentinean subsidiary Viva
Contenidos S.A..
Production costs are expected to be US$2.2 million, including script writing,
filming and acting costs, US$1 million of which will be funded by external
financial partners. Dori Media will be entitled to retain approximately 75%
formula profits derived from worldwide sales of broadcast rights, ancillary
products and live show revenues. External financiers will receive the balance.
Arte Radiotelevisivo Argentino S.A. ("Artear") has recently purchased the right
to broadcast the TV series for approximately US$ 500,000 in aggregate for the
initial 120 episodes in the territories of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The
TV series will be broadcast on Channel 13, one of Argentina's leading national
channels, starting from January 2006. The channel will also provide promotional
advertising of the Telenovela and its ancillary products in return for a revenue
share from the ancillary product revenues generated in Argentina, Uruguay and
Paraguay.
'El Refugio' is the story of five teenagers from different backgrounds who meet
at an abandoned theatre and start following the teaching of a once famous music
professor. They soon unite through their music to save the theatre from
destruction. Like 'Rebelde Way', Dori Media expects 'El Refugio' to become a hit
with teenagers and generate significant music and merchandizing revenues.
Dori Media will be the 100% right holder of 'El Refugio' with subsidiaries Dori
Media International selling the series and format worldwide and Viva Contenidos
S.A. selling the series to Argentina. The royalty agreement on profits between
Dori Media and the external financiers will apply to revenues equally across the
globe.

around the world. 'El Refugio' contains the ingredients of a great Telenovela,
with an exciting plot which we intend to use to generate ancillary business."
