Thyssenkrupp Names Martina Merz Chairwoman of Supervisory Board

Thyssenkrupp AG (TKA.XE) said Friday that its supervisory board
has elected Martina Merz as its new chairwoman.
Ms. Merz will take over from Bernhard Pellens, who stepped into
the position after the previous chairman, Ulrich Lehner, resigned
in July last year.
Ms. Merz is an independent management consultant at the
supervisory boards of Deutsche Lufthansa AG (LHA.XE) and Volvo AB
(VOLV-B.SK) among others, the German industrials company said.
