ACQUIRER: WPP PLC, the world's largest advertising company.

TARGET: Sandtable, a London-based data-science company that specializes in behavioral analytics and advanced simulations.

PRICE: Not disclosed.

RATIONALE: WPP said Sandtable will be integrated into the technology practice of its GroupM unit. The deal is in line with WPP's strategy to expand its technology offering, the FTSE 100-listed group said.
