Toyota Motor plans to offer around 15 different zero-emission vehicles, ranging from passenger cars to light commercial vehicles, in Europe by 2026, the automaker said.

By 2026, its battery electric-vehicle mix in Europe will likely be more than 20%, with sales in the region expected to exceed 250,000 units a year, the Japanese automaker said Monday. The company's electrified mix in Europe is already at 71% and will likely increase to 75% in 2024, it said.

The company said its Toyota Professional lineup of light commercial vehicles has robust momentum and expects sales of these vehicles to rise more than 20% in 2023 to over 140,000 units.
