CompUSA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Systemax Inc., has appointed Enas Raynor as its new Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Raynor most recently held a variety of senior executive positions with Circuit City, Inc.

Ms. Raynor comes to CompUSA with a deep background in electronics retailing. Over a 13-year period, she was promoted to a variety of positions at Circuit City, including being handpicked by Circuit Citys CEO as Territory Business Manager for a new concept division of Circuit City, called The City, which covered the entire Eastern seaboard. Additionally, Ms. Raynor developed a selling culture across the entire company that focused on achieving results by focusing on the customer experience.

The appointment of Ms. Raynor reflects the strength of our position, despite the downturn, said Gilbert Fiorentino, Chief Executive of Systemax Inc.s Technology Products business, which includes CompUSA. While other companies have been contracting, we have hired over 700 staff members in South Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico, since CompUSA was acquired by Systemax in January of last year.

Mr. Fiorentino continued, The appointment of Ms. Raynor is a particularly strong strategic move for us. Her background in spearheading new concepts in electronics retailing makes her the perfect fit for CompUSA, as we continue to roll out our revolutionary Retail 2.0 concept across all our stores.

Retail 2.0 is CompUSAs innovative, proprietary system that melds the best of online and brick-and-mortar shopping by giving customers in-store Internet access, which can be used to research products and make purchasing decisions. The system has been fully implemented in the flagship CompUSA Miami-Dade store, as well as its location in Raleigh, North Carolina. Customer feedback has been tremendous and CompUSA is looking forward to aggressively expanding the program into all of its stores in the near future.
