StoneMor Partners L.P. (NYSE:STON) today announced it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Lohman Funeral Homes, a privately owned operator of 14 cemetery and funeral home locations in Florida's Volusia and Flagler counties. The transaction, subject to certain terms and conditions, is expected to close within six weeks. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Lohman Funeral Homes, founded in 1997 is the largest family owned operator of funeral homes and cemeteries in Florida. It is anticipated that the Lohman family will continue to manage their existing properties under the Lohman Funeral Homes name.
