University Business magazine and Higher One (www.higherone.com) are
honoring six colleges and universities in the summer 2011 round of
their "Models of Efficiency" program. Each honoree has streamlined
operations to deliver better services in less time and at lower
cost.
"Models of Efficiency," a national recognition program developed
by University Business in partnership with Higher One, honors
institutions of higher learning that meet the education business
and technology challenges of colleges and universities today.
"We identify schools that have created replicable solutions, so
that other institutions can learn from them," said Tim Goral,
editor-in-chief of University Business. "We launched 'Models of
Efficiency' to call attention to institutions that are creating
solutions to some of the technology and business process challenges
that can plague schools."
The magazine's latest honorees are: Fresno Pacific University,
Western Washington University, Oakland University, State University
of New York at Cobleskill, Temple University, and University of
Wisconsin-Stout.
Full descriptions of honorees' projects, as well as application
information for upcoming rounds, can be found at

"It's a very rewarding experience to partner with University
Business in recognizing operations efficiencies on campuses across
the country," said Dean Hatton, CEO of Higher One, the program's
sponsor. "The creativity, tenacity, and determination demonstrated
by "Models of Efficiency" winners are inspiring to us in the
private sector as we continue to strive to support the streamlining
of operations and services in higher education business
offices."
