The 22,000-square-foot OfficeMax located at 19020 East 39th Street South in Independence Commons provides a one-stop shop for all office-related needs. The store will employ approximately 35 full- and part-time associates. The first 100 customers in the store on Sunday, December 5 and Monday, December 6 will receive free gift bags filled with OfficeMax items. In addition, radio station KFKF-FM 94.1 will broadcast live from the store from noon to 2 p.m. on December 5 and give away prizes. In-store customers can register for a chance to win prizes such as a DVD/VCR player, TV/VCR combo, OfficeMax gift cards and a digital camera.
