OfficeMax Announces Burdick as Chief Information Officer ITASCA,
Ill., March 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OfficeMax(R) Incorporated
(NYSE:OMX), a leader in office products and services, today
announced that Randy G. Burdick has been named Chief Information
Officer. Burdick will hold responsibility for the company's overall
information technology strategy and the development and
implementation of programs in support of that strategy. Burdick
previously held the group information officer and vice president,
supply chain operations role with Hewlett-Packard Company's Compaq
division, where he led strategic technology initiatives related to
the Hewlett-Packard and Compaq merger as well as key programs
related to workforce and operations management technologies. Prior
to joining Hewlett-Packard in 1999, Burdick held management
positions with Advanced Micro Devices and Harris Semiconductor.
