Slone has been named executive vice president, supply chain. Slone will have responsibility for both retail and contract supply chains, including all PowerMax distribution facilities. Prior to joining OfficeMax, Slone worked for the Whirlpool Corporation, most recently as vice president, global supply chain. While at Whirlpool, Slone led the transformation of the company's supply chain during the last four years. Previously, he held executive positions at General Motors, Federal-Mogul and Ernst & Young.
