Joseph J. Marazzo Named Vice President of NJR Home Services

New Jersey Resources (NYSE: NJR) approved the hiring of Joseph J. Marazzo of Basking Ridge, NJ to serve as vice president of NJR Home Services (NJRHS), the company’s unregulated appliance service business, effective September 20, 2010. In this capacity, Marazzo will oversee all of NJRHS’ operation and service activities and continue to build its business.

Marazzo began his career in 1980 as a management trainee at the Brooklyn Union Gas Company and went on to hold various management positions in Gas Distribution, Engineering and R&D before becoming director of operations in 1991. In this capacity, he was responsible for maintenance and construction of the company’s gas distribution system. In 1998, Marazzo became vice president, operations at KeySpan Home Energy Services, where he transformed the company from an appliance service contract business into a full HVAC and plumbing company. He was promoted to president and COO of KeySpan Home Energy Services in 2002. In 2009, he joined Clean Energy USA, a solar installation company, as Chief Executive Officer.

NJR Home Services provides home-appliance service, sales and installations to customers in Ocean, Monmouth, Morris and Middlesex counties. The company offers comprehensive appliance service contracts and related products and services to residential and commercial customers throughout its service territory. It also oversees NJR’s residential solar lease program that makes clean, renewable energy more accessible to customers.

NJRHS technicians are skilled at installing, servicing and repairing natural gas furnaces, hot water heaters, electric central air-conditioning equipment, stand-by generators and outdoor lighting. NJRHS provides responsive service seven days a week with a 100 percent guarantee on all services. Technicians have received HVAC Excellence Certification from the nationally recognized North American Technician Excellence and the ESCO Institute.
