Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT) on Monday said it received an order
worth more than $3 billion for 50 C-130J Super Hercules aircraft
from the U.S. government under an indefinite-delivery,
indefinite-quantity contract awarded in August 2016.
The Bethesda, Md., security and aerospace company said the
Defense Department has awarded more than $1.5 billion in funding
for the first 21 C-130J aircraft from the order, which includes
aircraft for the Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
Lockheed said it will deliver the aircraft, which it will build
