ITT to Sponsor the China National Kayaking Team

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- ITT Corporation

technology equipment and systems, announced that it would become
the strategic partner of China's National Kayaking Team as it
prepares for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The sponsorship
officially started on September 1, 2006 and will last through
December 31, 2008. At a joint press conference with the Chinese
Canoe Association in Beijing, ITT outlined the terms of its
sponsorship, which will focus on upgrading the team's equipment and
enhancing players' training abilities to improve the team's
performance. ITT's products and technologies have been used in the
kayak courses for Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Barcelona, Sydney
and Athens. Recently, ITT began work on its award to help construct
the kayaking course in Shunyi Olympic Water Park for the 2008
Beijing Olympic Games. "We think our sponsorship of the Chinese
