IHS to Hold Annual Shareholder Meeting May 6, 2010

IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, will hold its annual shareholder meeting on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. MDT at the company’s world headquarters, 321 Inverness Drive South, Englewood, Colo. The meeting will also be webcast live that day and can be accessed at www.ihs.com/Investor-Relations/ir-calendar.htm.

The agenda for the meeting is to:

Increase the total number of authorized shares available for issuance;
Elect three directors to serve until the 2013 shareholder meeting;
Ratify the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the company’s independent registered public accountants; and
Transact such other business as may properly come before the Annual Meeting.
