IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, will hold its annual shareholder meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. EDT at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York. The agenda for the meeting is to:

  • elect three directors to serve until the 2012 shareholder meeting;
  • ratify the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the company�s independent registered public accountants; and
  • transact such other business as may properly come before the Annual Meeting.

After completion of the agenda for the Annual Meeting, IHS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jerre Stead will provide an overview of the company.
