U.S. Army Awards Harris Corporation Contracts Valued at More Than $30 Million for AN/PRC-150(C) High-Frequency Radios and Services ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), a leading supplier of secure, tactical radios for worldwide defense forces, today announced it has been awarded Falcon(R) II radio and service contracts by the U.S. Army valued at more than $30 million. Delivery of products began in late December and will be completed by June 2005. The service contracts will continue throughout 2005 and include onsite training, installation and maintenance by a team of Harris field engineers for all Harris equipment in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Under the terms of the contracts, Harris is supplying high-frequency (HF) AN/PRC-150(C) radios in manpack and vehicular configurations. The radios will be deployed to support Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom in addition to the Army's Modularity program.
