Properties, Inc. (NYSE: GGP) ("GGP" or "Company") today announced
Andrew Silberfein as the first
president and chief executive officer of Rouse Properties, Inc.
Mr. Silberfein, 47, is currently executive vice president
of retail and finance for Forest City Ratner Companies
(FCRC). In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of
FCRC's retail portfolio, which consists of more than 5 million
square feet of existing and under-construction shopping centers
worth an estimated $2.2
billion. Mr. Silberfein brings more than two
decades of experience in the retail real estate industry, with
extensive experience in leasing, financing, development and asset
management.
