Ethan Allen Contract Strengthens Management Team

Ethan Allen (NYSE:ETH) is pleased to announce Norman MacLeod and Hay Creek have joined Ethan Allen’s Contract division.

Farooq Kathwari, Chairman and CEO of Ethan Allen, stated, “We are pleased that Norman and his team have joined Ethan Allen Contract to assist us in building this very important initiative. He understands the needs and scope of the contract business.”

Mr. MacLeod is the founder and owner of Hay Creek Hospitality, which specializes in the ownership and management of small, full-service boutique hotels.

Prior to Hay Creek's launch in 2005, Mr. MacLeod had been with Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he served in varied capacities, including Executive Vice President for Westin Hotels and Resorts and Sheraton Hotels worldwide, as well as EVP of Operations for North America.

He has managed such prestigious hotels as Park House in Boston, The Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, and the Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. He has also been involved in developmental and operational roles for Omni Hotels & Resorts.
