US Air Force Awards $9.8 Billion Contract to Boeing for Saudi F-15 Fleet

The Pentagon on Tuesday said it awarded a $9.8 billion contract
to the Boeing Co., Defense, Space & Security, to provide F-15
support for Saudi Arabia.
The contract calls for Boeing to modernize and sustain the
Kingdom's F-15 fleet and includes such efforts as hardware,
software, and interface design as well as future modifications and
enhancements to the F-15 Saudi weapon system, the Pentagon
said.
Work will be performed in St. Louis and as specified in
individual task and delivery orders, the Pentagon said.
The contract has a five-year ordering period with an option for
an additional five years, according to the Pentagon, adding the
F‐15 Division Contracts Branch, Wright Patterson Air Force Base,
Ohio, is the contracting activity.
