New Solution Designed to Help Operators Grow 3G Revenue by
Optimizing Advanced Mobile Phone Service Quality AMSTERDAM, The
Netherlands, September 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 3G Radio
Networks 2006 - RADCOM, Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: RDCM), a leading
network test and service monitoring solutions provider, today
announced that it will unveil Omni-Q for HSUPA network monitoring
and troubleshooting at the 3G Radio Networks 2006 in Amsterdam,
Netherlands on September 11th. The new solution, based on 3GPP
Release 6 Standard, provides 3G operators and their vendors with
the ability to monitor and troubleshoot high-speed real data
services provisioned over 3G HSUPA broadband data networks. HSUPA
is a data access protocol with extremely high upload speeds of up
to 5.76 Mbit/s. It is designed to improve mobile interactive
applications, like email and video conferencing, on mobile phone
Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) networks. The
RADCOM solution provides full visibility into the behavior of UMTS
network traffic in the lab and over production networks. It enables
vendors and operators to easily track the performance of all
network elements, including handsets, as well as the quality of
service experienced by subscribers. And it tests inter-system
handovers from GPRS (2.5G) to UMTS (3G) networks. This is
critically important as commercial HSUPA services are expected to
be progressively introduced in parallel with existing GPRS
networks. "These and other exclusive capabilities are made possible
by Omni-Q's award-winning R-70 pure hardware probe. Implementing
the power of the R70 for HSDPA and HSUPA analyses gives service
providers a high-performance solution to their high speed, 3G
service monitoring needs," said Ohad Lendner, Senior Product
Manager of RADCOM's Cellular Solutions. "Using Omni-Q, a
single-platform, HSUPA network and service quality monitoring
solution, can help UMTS operators grow the revenue stream created
by provisioning reliable, high quality mobile data services." "The
requirement to monitor HSUPA is a clear indication of the growing
maturity of the technology. RADCOM's solution is designed and timed
to support the mobile industry as it readies itself for commercial
deployments of cellular high speed data services later this year,"
said David Ripstein, Chief Operations Officer. "Once again,
introducing the right solution at the right time underscores the
company's leadership of the 3G monitoring market." To schedule a
private briefing at 3G Radio Networks 2006, contact Ohad Lendner,
who will be at the Amsterdam conference and exposition to deliver a
presentation entitled, "Maximizing 3G revenue by supporting the
radio optimization" on Monday, September 11th, 2006. About RADCOM
