Corporation (Nasdaq: SIAL) announced today that it intends to
offer, subject to market and other conditions, approximately
$250 million of its senior notes due
2020 in an underwritten public offering. Sigma-Aldrich plans
to use the net proceeds of the notes offering for general corporate
purposes.
Banc of America Securities LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
will act as joint book-running managers for the offering.
