Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. said it is targeting 5% sales growth in 2023 as the "relationship between pricing and inflation" improves.

The Burlington, Mass.-based beverage company's outlook came as it posted a 10.8% jump in 2022 sales to $14.06 billion. A 5% increase from there would take sales to $14.76 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet had been projecting 2023 sales of $14.85 billion.

The company said it is also expecting to post 6% to 7% growth in adjusted earnings for the year. Adjusted earnings were up 5% in 2022 at $1.68 a share.

Shares edged less than half a percentage point lower to $35.63 in premarket trading.
