Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. said Thursday that it named a new head of supply chain as part of a restructuring plan aimed at improving accountability and productivity levels.

The beverage company said it appointed Roger Johnson, current chief product officer, as the new chief supply chain officer to succeed Tony Milikin, who will leave by the end of the month.

Mr. Johnson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer-goods industry, will be in charge of overseeing Keurig Dr Pepper's supply chain relationships starting Oct. 17, the company said.

The company promoted two supply chain executives, Christopher Martin and Paul DaRosa, into new and expanded roles, it said.

Keurig Dr Pepper is set to publish its third-quarter earnings on Oct. 27.
