NEW YORK, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Iconix Brand Group, (NASDAQ:ICON) (the "Company") announced today that Gail Tentler has joined the Company as Managing Director of International Licensing. Ms.Tentler brings with her a wealth of experience in merchandising, marketing and international licensing. She joins the Company from her previous position as Director of Franchise Operations at Dashing Diva, where she successfully expanded the franchise chain to seven different countries throughout Asia, Europe and North America. Prior to that she launched the International Division for Group 3 Design, a brand management company and successfully licensed brands like Starter around the world. In addition to her licensing expertise, Ms. Tentler brings with her extensive experience in retailing and merchandising working as the General Merchandise Manager for Edgar's one of, the largest department store chain in South Africa. Ms. Tentler's main responsibilities will include the management and growth of the existing Iconix international licensees, identifying new licensees around the world for the Company's growing portfolio of brands, which today include Candie's, Bongo, Badgley Mischka, Joe Boxer, Rampage and Mudd and insuring a cohesive brand identity for the Company's trademarks worldwide.
