ASML Holding N.V. (ASML.AE, ASML) Monday said a fire at one of
its suppliers will result in the delay of some deliveries early
next year.
The Dutch semiconductor-equipment maker said the Saturday fire
at Prodrive, one of its suppliers of electronics components and
modules, destroyed part of Prodrive's production capacity and some
inventories.
ASML said it will take several weeks to complete a detailed
assessment of the impact of the fire, adding that it expects no
change in its planned shipments for the rest of this year.
ASML said it is working with Prodrive to restart production and
with its other suppliers to obtain components and materials.
